How to Get a Family Doctor in Manitoba: Using the Official Registry

Manitoba Health's Family Doctor Finder helps residents register to find a home clinic. This article explains how to register, contact info, and alternatives while waiting.

Family Doctor Finder in Manitoba

If you live in Manitoba and don't have a family doctor, you can register through the provincial government's Family Doctor Finder program. It helps you find a "home clinic"—a patient-centred family practice that provides a base for your healthcare needs, including family doctors and/or nurse practitioners.

How to Register

Registration is done online through the official website. If you need help completing the online form, call the contact centre at 204-786-7111 (in Winnipeg) or toll-free 1-866-690-8260, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For TTY/TDD, call 774-8618 or Manitoba Relay Services toll-free 1-800-855-0511.
